ladies

My goodness, today was tiring.
A few days ago, I finally found a wonderful hat.  I'd been searching for one of those nice floppy, dark-colored hats but with no luck.  However, I found a completely different style than I'd been looking for, for only $9 and surprisingly, it's yellow.  On another day, when I'm feeling less down and out, I'll take some pictures with it.  I wore that hat today and paired it with white gloves I got at a thrift shop in the village of my old university.  It reminds me a bit of this hat:

As I was going through Google, I couldn't help noticing how absolutely amazing hats are!  There were so many beautiful styles and I can't help wondering, what the hell happened?  Today, pretty much all you see anymore are beanies.  Here's some inspiring pictures from back in the day!  Women used to be such stunning ladies.

I sort of miss the terrible quality of playing the orig. Nintendo on one of these.
But now  I shoot zombiez on a tv the size of me.
For some reason i always get the Ray-gun so early in the game when i have to leave for work!

paris, nearly three years ago

I've always loved me some Egyptian hieroglyphs!  Plus, I sincerely miss that hair color.

We had to wait for almost three hours at one spot on le Tour Eiffel, and amongst the writings left by many people from around the world, I found someone who felt the same way I did!

The preceding two pictures are from a woman's castle in the French countryside.  To attest to the feminity of this place, the bathrooms were stunningly beautiful.

One of my closest friends is going to be spending this semester in Paris and I'm so excited (and incredibly jealous!) for her.  I wish her the utmost luck and a wonderful time, filled with unqiue and profound experiences.  I was really shocked by how city-like Paris is; it wasn't the stuff of romantic notions I thought it would be.  However, after I left, I can't help but think of Paris as beautiful, romantic, dream-like city.  I did start to see it was truly wonderful after the shock of modernism and tourism subsided.

To start off

I'm not one for intro's or trying to sum my self up.
I have many interests you'll see over time.
I've been into photography for quite some time now,
so i have sooo many pictures to share. To begin,  I'll share  my place of work.
A "hidden gem" of our city.

Kilimanjaro flannel / Forever21 dress / Anne Klein socks / American Apparel bloomers
To clear any air that may be polluted, as I said before, this is not a fashion blog.  However, I'd argue that Teresa and I (her more so than me, in my opinion!) dress interestingly.  (Yes, this is probably not the most unique outfit you've probably ever seen.)

Anyways, this was my outfit on Monday, for my first day at a new university!  This outfit is actually quite comfortable, minus the combat boots.  (Combat boots just get tiring after awhile.)  Plus, it's warm!  High socks and plush tights are the best for a cold New York winter.  This is also one of my favorite dresses because it has a cute corset looking top and the full skirt is just so clever.  I felt a bit grunge or something, reviewing these pictures, with the flannel, boots, and weird flash-lighting going on.  I guess the bloomers balance it out a little!
